Race Day at the Drag Strip

Large, powerful engines, super wide flat tires, tightly tweaked suspension systems, and safety gear are all designed to move the car as fast as it can go without killing the driver. The first one over the finish line in the shortest amount of time wins.

Lots of smoke from burning tires getting heated just before the race, noxious fumes from refined fuels, and did I mention the noise? Ear-splitting levels of engines reaching maximum torque, all while I avoid getting injured or worse while covering these races.
