Altered States on the Oceans Edge

I have been exploring the impact of time and memory and how we remember select aspects of our past experiences. Sometimes the image is not exactly as reality presented itself, familiar yet different. As all photographs are made in the present, they immediately become a document about the past. Sometimes an image can not express my full sensory experience of a place, the people and the activities which are occurring. These images are about trying to find a closer representation of the emotional and subconscious nature of the way I remember.
